Driving Experience Japan Guides

Driving Experience Japan is a free-to-play Roblox vehicle sim from RayshStudios. It released on 7 December 2023, still carries a beta tag, and runs six-player servers. You drive Japanese-inspired streets for Yen, not a generic cash pile. This hub is the reading map: seven practical guides, the order that wastes the least time, and the pages that sit next to them.

Start on public servers. DEJP is online multiplayer, not a single-player campaign. Learn the plaza, claim codes, then take a job before you window-shop limited lots. The Getting Started guide is the first-hour script. Come back here when you need a deeper page instead of rereading the same spawn advice.

How to use these seven guides

Read them in this order unless you already know the HUD.

1. Getting Started — spawn plaza, trophy codes, briefcase jobs, a cheap first car, and which map to learn first.
2. Driving Controls — WASD, mobile, first-person camera, trophy, briefcase, and phone.
3. How to Make Yen — codes versus taxi and delivery versus Farmer versus Lucky Box versus selling duplicates.
4. Farmer Job — level 25 unlock, Kameoka Kyoto location, and why it beats early taxi loops.
5. Hakusan Touge — how to leave Kyoto for the Ishikawa mountain, NightRace, drift, and race events.
6. Driving School — the timed Mazda trainer and other limited school cars from the 96-car dump.
7. How to Get Rare Cars — hidden dealers, Lucky Box, codes, NightRace rewards, and bikes.

If you only have ten minutes, do Getting Started plus the live codes list. If you already have a kei van and a few million Yen, skip to Farmer or Hakusan.

What this wiki assumes

• Currency is Yen. Delivery and taxi stops pay around 400,000 Yen each.
• Jobs live on the briefcase icon. Codes live on the trophy on the left and are case-sensitive.
• Maps in rotation: Kyoto city, Kameoka village, Hakusan touge. Hakodate is announced as a later map, not a live spawn.
• Lucky Box sits at spawn beside two Hiace vans. Free rolls reset around 8pm JST. The paid box costs 750,000 Yen with a 35-roll cap. Elite is Robux. Pity arrived in v1.1.5.
• In-game brands include Tokoma, Honard, Naisen, Densu, Starl, and Reaxus. Hidden dealers exist for ultra-rare Pagani-class cars. Buy kei, commercial, or taxi metal first.

Patch notes still move. After a shutdown, skim the changelog and the updates hub before you assume a dealer or job marker sat still.

Private servers historically exposed /setmaxspawn up to 50 cars. That is a hosting note, not a public-server rule. Public boxes stay at six drivers.

Reading order for a brand-new account

Join the place, redeem every live string, take two delivery stops in Kyoto, buy a cheap daily driver, and roll the free Lucky Box once. Then open Controls so first-person and the phone do not feel like hidden keys. Bank Yen until level 25, switch to Farmer on Kameoka, and only then treat Hakusan as a playground instead of a commute. That path is slower than a lucky code dump and much faster than buying a limited car you will flip into a wall.
