Driving Experience Japan is still labeled beta on Roblox, but it has been live since 7 December 2023. RayshStudios ships in large dumps rather than weekly hotfixes: a map, a car batch, a Lucky Box prize pass, then a description change with new codes. This hub is the map of those dumps. The numbered walkthrough lives on the version changelog. Use this page to know which patch you are standing in before you spend Yen or redeem a tracker code.

Live baseline is V1.3. The Roblox description that shipped with it listed 116 new cars, a NightRace banner, Kameoka expansion, Hakusan touge race events, limited bundles, Lucky Box prizes, kilometer rewards, and level rewards. The three codes on that description — DEJPSEPT2026, HAPPY10MVISITS, ROADTO40KMEMBERS — are the only strings this wiki marks confirmed. Older codes often die when a dump this size lands; check working codes the same night.

What each era changed for drivers

V1.0 / early beta. The loop that still pays: Kyoto city, jobs, Yen, dealer brands (Tokoma, Honard, Naisen, Densu, Starl, Reaxus). Farmer is the first gated job — level 25 on the Kameoka (Kyoto) map. If a veteran says “just farm,” they mean this era’s economy, not a script.

V1.1.5. Pity on Lucky Box and a UI pass. The spawn box next to the two Hiace vans stopped being a pure slot machine. Free daily, 750,000 Yen normal rolls with a 35 cap, elite for Robux, plus pity. That rule set is why Lucky Box has its own tool page.

V1.2. Fifty-four cars, the Hakusan map in Ishikawa, two limited bundles, a banner reward, and more Lucky Box prizes. This is the patch that turned DEJP from a Kyoto cruise into a touge game. Private-server players who only knew city streets had to learn mountain braking.

V1.3. One hundred sixteen cars, NightRace banner, Kameoka expansion, Hakusan touge race events, limited bundles, Lucky Box prizes, kilometer rewards, and level rewards. It is the current content ceiling. Hakodate remains announced as a future map, not a playable tile.

Full numbers, how they stack, and a real patch video sit on the changelog. Do not skip that page and then ask why your V1.1 auto-farmer cannot find Farmer NPCs after the Kameoka expansion.

How to read a DEJP update without getting burned

  1. Cars first. A 54-car or 116-car drop changes the tier list overnight. Limited bundles are time-boxed; they belong on limited cars, not in your head as always-on dealer stock.
  2. Maps second. Hakusan added a mountain. V1.3 added race events on that mountain and grew Kameoka. Job routes and maps move when the tile grows.
  3. Boxes third. Every major version lists Lucky Box prize changes. Pity from v1.1.5 still applies; the prize table does not. Stop rolling the day a dump lands until you know what the new pool is.
  4. Codes last. Description codes replace the previous trio. Tracker lists lag. Redeem confirmed strings, then the backlog, then move on. Expired codes explains Invalid versus Already Redeemed.
  5. Scripts never. Auto-farm and vehicle tools break when UI moves. After V1.3, treat any pre-Hakusan GUI as museum footage.

The game stays free-to-play. Server size is six. Online multiplayer only — not split-screen, not single-player-only. Yen remains the farmable currency. Delivery still pays about 400,000 per stop. None of that reset in V1.3, which is why jobs still beat a panic dealer purchase the night 116 cars land.

Where patch news actually appears

RayshStudios posts on the Roblox description, the community group, Instagram @dejpofficial, and the Discord servers (13+). This wiki is a fan index, not the studio feed. When the description and Discord disagree, the description wins for codes and the changelog page wins for feature lists.

If you are returning after a break: spawn in Kyoto, confirm you can drive to Kameoka and Hakusan, check Lucky Box prices (750,000 normal, free daily around 8pm JST), then read V1.3 on the changelog. That ten-minute loop tells you whether you missed a map, a pity rule, or just a car catalog.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Kyoto roads, Yen, and DEJP codes.

What is the current Driving Experience Japan version?

V1.3 is the live baseline: 116 new cars, NightRace banner, Kameoka expansion, Hakusan touge events, km and level rewards. Details are on the changelog.

Did V1.3 add a new map?

It expanded Kameoka and added Hakusan touge race events. Hakusan itself arrived in V1.2. Hakodate is still an announced future map; see maps.

Do updates kill old codes?

Often yes after medium and large dumps. Keep the official trio from the description and treat the rest as perishable on working codes.

What should I do the night a car dump drops?

Do not panic-buy. Check Lucky Box prizes, limited bundles, and limited cars. Jobs still pay ~400,000 Yen per Delivery stop.

Roblox description, group shout, Instagram @dejpofficial, and Discord. This updates hub indexes those dumps for drivers.
