Driving Experience Japan Kilometer and Level Rewards

V1.3 odometer pay and level pay — stacked on jobs, not a replacement for Farmer or Lucky Box.

Last updated:

Kilometer Rewards

V1.3 added two background tracks to Driving Experience Japan: kilometer rewards and level rewards. They pay you for existing as a driver — distance on the odometer, account level on the profile — instead of only for briefcase stops. They do not retire taxi, courier, or Farmer. They do not make the spawn Lucky Box cheaper. RayshStudios still labels the place beta after the 7 December 2023 launch. Servers still hold six players. Currency is still Yen. This page is the comparison sheet the tools hub promised: km and level versus jobs versus the box.

Long Hakusan kilometers that still count as driving

The studio did not print a public “X Yen per kilometer” or “Y Yen per level” table in the game description. This wiki will not invent one. Play as if both tracks pay, budget as if Delivery’s ~400,000 Yen a stop is still the number you can plan a night around. Confirm live V-numbers on the changelog if a later dump retunes the tracks.

What V1.3 actually added

The V1.3 Roblox description stacked 116 cars, a NightRace banner, Kameoka expansion, Hakusan race touge events, limited bundles, Lucky Box prize changes, kilometer rewards, and level rewards. Codes on that same description: DEJPSEPT2026, HAPPY10MVISITS, ROADTO40KMEMBERS. The car dump is a catalog shock. The km/level pair is an economy shock: honest driving now has a second paycheck besides the briefcase.

Kilometer rewards. Distance. Kyoto commutes, Kameoka farm crawls, Hakusan climbs, even a slow plaza loop after you claim the free Hiace box. The odometer does not ask whether you are on a job marker. It asks whether the wheels turned. A bike still counts; a van still counts. A parked screenshot does not.

Level rewards. Account level now pays on its own track. Farmer still unlocks at level 25 on Kameoka. That gate did not move. Hitting 25 is now a payday as well as a job door. Levels before 25 are not wasted: taxi and courier already taught Kyoto while the new track ticks.

Neither track needs a script. An auto-farm that drives circles “for km” is still TOS-breaking and still dumber than taking Delivery stops that pay and add kilometers at the same time. If you want km, take the long way to a real marker.

Kilometer rewards versus jobs

Jobs remain the spine. Open the jobs overview if you need the roster. Short version:

LoopUnlockTypical payHow km fits
TaxiSpawnHonest fares, map tutorCity–village seam adds distance while you learn lights
Courier / DeliverySpawn, plaza vanAbout 400,000 Yen a stopBest stack: marker pay plus odometer pay
FarmerLevel 25, KameokaLong-session villageSlow km, fewer crashes, still a job first
Hakusan eventsMap + carReward cars / bannersScenic km on the way in, not the reason to enter

Courier is still the headline number. Four stops ≈ 1,600,000 Yen before you count km. That is more than two Lucky Box normals at 750,000 each, with leftover. Kilometer rewards are the tip, not the iceberg. If a thumbnail says “AFK km is the new meta,” it is selling a circle. Drive the plaza van. The odometer will follow.

Taxi is the tutor. It adds km while someone else picks the destination. Do not skip it on day one because V1.3 added a level track. You still need to know Kyoto. Farmer is the rural upgrade after 25, covered in the Farmer job guide. Village lanes are long. That is good km. It is better Farmer. Bring a kei truck, not a limited coupe, not a motorcycle.

Yen math that includes codes, dupes, and jobs lives on how to make Yen. Put km in the “also ticking” column of that plan, never in the “instead of the briefcase” column.

Level rewards versus Farmer at 25

Before V1.3, level 25 was only a door: Farmer on the Kameoka Kyoto map. After V1.3, levels have a reward track on the way there and past it. The door is still the door. Standing in the Kyoto plaza at level 24 will not spawn a farm marker. Standing in Kameoka at level 10 will not either.

How to climb without treating levels as a gacha:

  1. Redeem live codes so the first hours are not broke. Trophy flow is on codes.
  2. Run taxi and courier until streets feel known. Each stop is XP you can feel and Yen you can count.
  3. Let kilometer rewards ride along. Do not detour into empty laps.
  4. At 25, change maps. Take Farmer. Bank the level-reward payday if the client grants one, then do the job.
  5. Past 25, levels still pay in the background. Farmer still prints more than staring at the XP bar.

V1.3 also expanded Kameoka. Trust the current village over a V1.0 clip. Hakusan is not a level skip. NightRace is not a level skip. Lucky Box is not a level skip. If you want the rural job, drive until 25 and go to Kameoka. The Farmer job guide is the unlock walkthrough. This page only places level rewards on that ladder.

Versus Lucky Box, and how to spend a km night

Lucky Box is a sink. Kilometer rewards are a faucet. Do not open the faucet into the sink on impulse.

  • Free box around 8pm JST at the two spawn Hiace vans. Always take it if you are in Kyoto. Claiming it also resets the normal-box count. Details: Lucky Box.
  • Normal box 750,000 Yen, 35-cap, pity since v1.1.5. Km and level pay will not fill 26,250,000 Yen by themselves. Jobs will, slowly. Codes will, in spikes.
  • Elite box is Robux. Background driving does not print Robux.

A night that stacks every legal track:

  1. Redeem DEJPSEPT2026, HAPPY10MVISITS, ROADTO40KMEMBERS if they still sit in the description.
  2. Free Lucky Box if the clock is right.
  3. Courier in Kyoto so you get ~400,000 Yen, kilometers, and levels on the same street.
  4. If you are 25, mix Farmer on Kameoka for a longer odometer and calmer crashes.
  5. If the stack is boring, a Hakusan scenic still adds km. Events are optional. The tools hub is the index if you next want box math instead of road math.
  6. Paid Lucky Box only with a number of 750,000 tickets you wrote down before the first click.

Kameoka village roads that add slow kilometers on Farmer

Private /setmaxspawn toward 50 does not multiply km. Scripts that auto-drive for distance still risk the account. Maps for choosing a long road without cheating are on maps. NightRace and bikes can add kilometers too; they still are not jobs.

V1.3’s gift is simple: the car you already own is progression. You do not need 116 new cars to make the odometer move. You need a replaceable body, a marker, and enough patience to let level 25 arrive while Yen arrives with it. Use jobs as the engine, km and level as the cruise control, Lucky Box as the optional rest stop. The how to make Yen plan still starts with codes and the briefcase. This page is what V1.3 bolted onto the bumper.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Kyoto roads, Yen, and DEJP codes.

What are kilometer rewards in Driving Experience Japan?

A V1.3 track that pays for odometer distance. It stacks with jobs. It does not replace Delivery’s ~400,000 Yen stops. Index: tools hub.

Do level rewards change the Farmer unlock?

No. Farmer is still level 25 on Kameoka. Level rewards are extra pay on that climb. Walkthrough: Farmer job.

Should I AFK circles to farm kilometers?

No. Take taxi, courier, or Farmer so Yen and km land together. Job roster: jobs. Scripts: auto-farm.

Can kilometer rewards fund Lucky Box?

Not by themselves. A normal roll is 750,000 Yen. Drive jobs, then decide. Box rules: Lucky Box. Full income mix: how to make Yen.

Do bikes and NightRace count for km?

Distance is distance. A bike cruise or Hakusan climb still moves the odometer. Paychecks still come from jobs more than from scenery.

How much Yen does each kilometer pay?

RayshStudios did not print a public per-km table here. Budget with job numbers you can see, and treat km/level as extras on the tools hub.
